Drogheda is a thriving port town sitting on the majestic River Boyne. It is well located on M1 Corridor between Dublin and Belfast and on the Intercity train line. Drogheda is also located a mere 20 minutes from Dublin Airport. The town offers a skilled workforce, great infrastructure and a Chamber of Commerce that is looking forward to supporting your development. But Drogheda is so much more than that ...

Within a 30 mile radius of the Drogheda, there is a population of over 1.1 million, with a growing pool of skilled workers based here.

Drogheda has a fantastic history, with the Oliver Cromwell led bombardment of the town in 1649 being a part of its sometimes controversial past. It is also located at the heart of what is perhaps the most archaeologically significant region in the country. But it's not all history - Drogheda has a wonderful Arts offering including the Droichead Arts Centre, The Highlanes Gallery, the annual Samba Festival and the annual Drogheda Arts Festival which is now nationally acclaimed. It's also a great spot for families - playgrounds, Europe's largest indoor water park, beaches and outdoor adventure centres. Some of the best Golf Courses in the country are within the drogheda hinterland, like Co. Louth Golf Club (Baltray) that has long played host to some of Ireland's finest tournaments including the Nissan Irish Open in 2004 and the 3 Irish Open in 2009.

Drogheda has undergone major retail changes in the last decade. The traditional heart of the town has been part pedestrianised and is a comfortable and welcoming place to shop. Two retail centres (Laurence Town Centre and Scotch Hall) are located within the town centre area while the M1 Retail Park and Donore Road Retail park are located on the outskirts of town. The latest addition to the town is Southgate, located on the South side of the town. Drogheda is a shopping mecca - no matter what you are looking for.
